line a bowl with tin/aluminum foil
place your tarnished silver jewellery into the bowl
sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda powder over the jewellery
pour boiling water into the bowl
let the solution sit for a few minutes
remove your jewellery and rinse with cool water
pat dry with a microfiber cloth
repeat if necessary
 
storage tip: place each fully dry item in a ziploc bag in order to help reduce air & moisture exposure which lead to oxidation and the formation of tarnish
